Avoid Becoming an INBOUND Zombie

inbound zombie

Don’t let INBOUND consume your soul.

In the spirit of the holiday, and in preparation for INBOUND 2016, we wanted to share with you a few tips on how to stay alert and survive your time at INBOUND!

A few things to consider:

1. Wear Comfortable Shoes

We know you want to make the world your runway, but are you really going to be able to walk around in those heels or stiff leather shoes for hours? Avoid the limp of the undead by wearing sensible shoes, and maybe even some arch supports. That’ll keep a pep in your step!

2. Keep Hydrated

It makes sense that you’d want to keep the coffee flowing all day long for maximum caffeine-fueled energy. However, we all know the saying “What goes up, must come down.” Limit the caffeine intake and think about carrying a water bottle around the conference with you. You’ll feel better throughout the day if you’re hydrated, and you won’t have to face the inevitable crash that other INBOUND attendees will fall victim to.

3. Make a Plan for Who You Want to See

Don’t wander aimlessly around the conference with the rest of the zombie pack. Pick out a few sessions you want to attend and a couple of booths you want to make a point to stop at.

Schedule a Meeting with New Breed

This will ensure you get only the information you want and aren’t scrambling around being bombarded by all the options.

4. Bring Your Phone Charger To Club INBOUND

There’s nothing worse than having a phone that’s as dead as your soul. Bring your phone charger so you can stay active and involved in the social world of INBOUND! Don’t miss out on the latest blog posts and social updates at the conference because your battery has taken a dive into the underworld. Plus, you’ll be able to recharge your legs from a day full of walking at the same time.

5. Pack Some Snacks

Yes, there will be plenty of food at INBOUND, but you can almost always guarantee a line. Time spent in line for food equals time NOT spent in sessions and exploring booths on the conference floor. Don’t let your hungriness get the best of you. Pack a bag full of quick, protein-rich snacks to keep your energy levels high and your cravings for human flesh low.

The INBOUND fun certainly doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, and while libations and good times abound, it’s a smart idea to resist going overboard with nighttime activities. Those free sunglass you picked up as swag aren’t intended to hide hungover eyes day two of the conference. I know the undead don’t sleep, but you need to if you want to make the rest of your time at INBOUND worthwhile.

Don’t walk around zombified when you could be living it up with us at Club Inbound Nov. 8-11!
